Camp Kigali and Gisenyi edition

The second edition of the Fear-Free Campaign targeting the youth took place in the Western province, specifically in the district of Rubavu within the city of Gisenyi. This expansion was prompted by the recognition that the remedy for fear is essential in every part of the country and beyond, reaching neighboring nations.

Our History

Since 1985, Bible Communication Center has been our real burden, to myself and to my dear Pastor Lydia Umulisa Masasu, given by God to prepare a great army of disciples totally devoted to God. In that same year, while we were still in DR Congo, we made the following diagnosis, which unfortunately still remains true today:

The absence of consecration
Absence or weak prayer life in the Body of Christ
The absence of elaborate and shared Christian information

This observation led us to meet in a framework called “Intergroup” in order to discuss the ways and means of effectively supervising Christians and even non-Christians to make them disciples or fighters of Jesus Christ. It is from this framework of Intergroup “that the Biblical Center was born, the Hand of Association today known under the name of Bible Communication Center (BCC).

Burden

Lack of consecration or weak consecration to the Lord.
Absence of elaborate and shared Christian information, creating confusion and even collision.
Absence of simple and practical biblical teachings to prepare the follower of Christ for a victorious life and a fruitful ministry in the Lord’s church.
Absence of a church family church and instead we have an association for the advancement of the earthly well-being of its members

Vision

The vision of Bible Communication Center is to prepare an army of life-giving disciples of Jesus Christ totally devoted to the Lord, having a different background but bound together by a family spirit, restored, trained, sent and determined to make Jesus Christ the Lord of this generation.

Mission

BCC’s mission is to help the whole person, both physical and moral, each in their specificity, to fulfill the Supreme Order of Jesus Christ in harmonious association with the other members of the Body of Christ: “Go, do of all the nations of the disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all that I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you…Matthew 28:19-20.
