Kampala, November 14th to 16th, 2023—The 2023 BCC Conference convened in Kampala, Uganda, for three impactful days under the theme “The Heart of God for His Church Today.†This significant event brought together approximately 170 church ministers, including fathers and lead pastors from Uganda and Rwanda, to engage in spiritual renewal and leadership development.
The conference was graced by the presence of BCC’s visionary leader, Apostle Joshua N. Masasu, whose teachings set the tone for the gathering. Apostle Masasu exhorted the assembled leaders to align their ministries with the vision received from God, rather than relying solely on personal thoughts and plans. Drawing on over 40 years of ministry leadership experience, he emphasized that ministries lacking a foundation rooted in God’s vision are destined for failure.
“God, who gives the vision, always provides the provision and the inspiration to fulfill His Kingdom’s plans for His glory,†Apostle Masasu shared. His message resonated deeply, encouraging leaders to trust in divine guidance and to focus on building churches that reflect God’s purpose.
The conference served as a powerful platform for revitalizing church ministers, equipping them to make a greater impact in their communities. Through a blend of sermons, testimonies, and discussions, participants were inspired to enhance their service to Christ’s church and to embrace their roles as stewards of God’s vision.
The 2023 BCC Conference reaffirmed the commitment of its attendees to advance God’s Kingdom through faithful leadership and ministry. As the participants returned to their respective communities, the lessons and inspiration gained from the conference are expected to have a lasting impact for the benefit of Christ’s church.
