BCC Rwanda’s 11th Graduation Ceremony

Masoro, August 17th, 2025 – The previous part of the BCC Rwanda’s Graduation Ceremony was remarkable and hard to forget, and the second was nothing short of beautiful and full of excitement.  The ceremony started with opening remarks from the Coordinator of BCC Africa, Bishop John Kwizera Masasu. He emphasized that BCC opens a door to all churches to provide training to all Christians through discipleship classes that transform lives.

This promotion of disciples had a stunning total of 485 disciples who graduated, and who were from different churches and ministries. Among them were 314 taking their classes from ERC Masoro, 108 from ERC Nyarugenge, 12 from ERC Nyamata, and 51 from BCC Universities. Additionally, ERC Masoro classes welcomed disciples from 68 different churches in Rwanda.

Still in the wonderful atmosphere of joy and thankfulness, 3 disciples gave testimonies:

  • Dora Batamuliza: She came to church with a heavy heart, sad and worried about the school fees of her children, together with her separation from her husband. After taking the BCC classes, she learned, with the help of God, forgiveness, which led her to being reconciled with her husband.
  • Nathalie Akimana: Coming from BCC Universities, she learned forgiveness, salvation, love, and how to pray, referencing Matthew 6:6, “But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” She urged the disciples to apply the lessons they learned.
  • Manasseh Mugwaneza: He received life from the BCC classes. He learned the power of prayer through the classes. Coming from a Christian family, he did not think he needed the classes. “I needed someone to lean on in hard times.” Mentioning that he found it nowhere else but in the BCC classes.

BCC Vice President, Senior Pastor Lydia Umulisa Masasu, with great joy, congratulated the graduates. She quoted Philippians 1:6, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” She urged the disciples to go and live what they learned.

The Founder and President of the Bible Communication Center, Ap. Yoshua N. Masasu reminded the disciples that giving life takes time, and for that, they need to train themselves to remain at the feet of Jesus, learning and absorbing His word. He quoted 2 Timothy 2:1-2, “1You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.” The ceremony continued with the certification of the disciples for commission, and the prayer to send them with one mission – to raise an army of life-giving disciples, fully consecrated to the Lord Jesus, dedicated to make Him know as the only King of this generation.
