BCC Rwanda’s 11th Graduation Ceremony

Masoro, August 9th, 2025 — The Bible Communication Center (BCC) Rwanda marked a remarkable milestone this weekend, celebrating its 11th graduation ceremony with a vibrant gathering at ERC Masoro. A total of 505 men and women from across Rwanda—and beyond—received their certificates after months, and for some, years of in-depth study of God’s Word.

The atmosphere was one of joyful worship, heartfelt gratitude, and powerful testimonies of lives transformed. Graduates represented 68 churches nationwide, with 401 completing in-person classes at ERC Masoro, 34 joining online, and 70 from ERC Kimisagara—painting a vivid picture of unity in the Body of Christ.

The testimonies shared during the ceremony captured the true heart of the BCC mission:

  • Mbabazi Scovia from Kenya spoke about the power of forgiveness. “Before BCC, I didn’t know the strength in true forgiveness. Through Matthew 6:14, I learned it’s not weakness—it’s strength. BCC built my character and gave me humility to serve God with excellence.”
  • Kayihura Venuste, a 65-year-old Rwandan pastor, admitted he was initially skeptical, believing his theology background was enough. “Through Galatians 5:22–23, I understood what it means to live by the fruit of the Spirit. I learned to pray without ceasing, to die to myself, and to love like Christ—even alongside children. It renewed my joy.”
  • Imvungonziza Christian from Rwanda spent over three years completing the course. “Through Acts 4:20, I understood my identity in Christ. We know Him so we can tell others. Now I want to help expand this vision.”
  • Secka Sarah from Chad, a young mother who moved to Rwanda a year ago, shared a powerful testimony. “Before, I carried heavy burdens and sought help everywhere—even in witchcraft. But through BCC classes, I found healing and peace in Christ. Every lesson was a testimony for me.”

BCC Vice President, Senior Pastor Lydia U. Masasu congratulated the graduates and commended the pastors and teachers who journeyed with them. “We are called to care for the Bride of Christ. Your effort is not small in God’s eyes. Let your zeal carry this vision to other continents.”

BCC founder and visionary leader Yoshua Ndagijimana Masasu urged graduates to remain deeply rooted in Scripture and to expand their reach. Quoting Isaiah 60:22 —“A small one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. In due time, I, the Lord, will bring it to pass”—He reminded them of God’s power to multiply their impact. He also cited John 8:32, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free,” encouraging them to “Go, teach, and make disciples with what you have learned.” The ceremony closed with a prayer of commissioning, as each graduate received their certificate. They were sent out with a clear mandate—to raise an army of life-giving disciples, fully consecrated to Jesus Christ, and to stand as bold witnesses for this generation.
